This is very random, but Pusha T's Alone in Vegas has been coming up on shuffle a lot these past couple of days and I can't get it out of my head. This track was found on both of his 2011 releases Fear of God, and Fear of God II: Let Us Pray. Personally I think it is the best track on both projects, but I didn't realize that until these past couple of days for some reason. It's one of those tracks that you have to listen to a couple of times back to back to really appreciate it. If you really listen to what he's saying, he shows storytelling at it's finest, you can really play the whole scene out in your head. The video for the track is that much better. It's kind of simple, nothing too extraordinary. But at the same time it's deep, fits the song perfectly, and also gives him the chance to stunt a little throughout. Ever since Push stepped into the limelight by launching his solo career he's been ripping everything. Some days I even feel like he may be my favorite rapper.
Don't mind me I'm just rambling, but here's the video to go along with this sleeper.
"The game can't grow by just following the leaders, you gotta be better than the ones who precede ya."
