The Beginning...

What's good fam? My name's D.J. Reynolds, I'm a 19 year old college student at The Winston Salem State University with ambitions to be a writer someday in the near future. I'm originally from Aliquippa, PA...which is right outside of Pittsburgh. I've also lived in Syracuse, NY and Fayetteville, NC...but my heart is where I was raised at which is Charlotte, I've been living here for about the past ten years. I figured starting this blog would be a good way to hone my skills, voice my opinion, and hopefully put my name out there. I plan on updating and posting a lot so I'd appreciate it if you stayed tuned. This first and foremost will always be a HIP HOP blog. Whether it's music, clothes, sneakers, or any other form of hip hop culture...we'll touch on it. I listen to all types of music so expect a few posts outside of the hip hop genre. I plan on bringing in a couple other writers to post and help out so if you're interested just hit me up at yoitsdjay@gmail.com. Stay tuned for my first couple of posts in which we'll discuss the top ten mixtapes...then the top ten albums of the year. It's not all music though, we've got jokes too.
